About Kitama
Kitama comes from a simple feeling we all recognize but rarely protect enough
the need to love fully and to be remembered fully. "Kitama, Kita Selamanya" means us, forever.
It reflects what we believe at our core, that everyone deserves the freedom to express love in their own way, and that love deserves a place where it can live longer than a moment.
We built Kitama because love is something we practice, not just stand about what we feels, but action we made. It shows up in stories, messages, small gestures, shared jokes, drawings, voice notes, and memories that quietly shape who we are.
Too often, these moments disappear with time or get lost across platforms. We wanted to create a space where love doesn't vanish, where it can be gathered, shaped, and kept with intention.
Founder Story
Rakha's Story
The idea of Kitama is deeply personal to us. One of our founders, Rakha, spent five years in a long-distance relationship separated by twelve hours of time difference. While one slept, the other lived their day.
What kept that relationship alive was the meaningful communication, creating moments, leaving traces, finding ways to feel close despite distance. That experience taught us that love can survive time zones, but it needs care and creativity.

Uud's Story
Another co-founder, Uud, grew up in a home where love was documented. Since he was seven years old, his sister would create stories for him every birthday, telling his journey, celebrating his growth, and proudly sharing those stories with others.
Those memories didn't just capture moments, they built identity. They showed us how powerful it is when love is expressed thoughtfully and preserved over time.

It is not only for romantic partners.
